Daily Repeat 2 #109: Selfie Vignette

There is this ridiculous phrase that refers to quick shots of yourself, “selfies.” A long time ago, photographers did still life photos that showed their interests and hobbies, more like “vignettes.” So let me explain my non-selfie vignette: the hand held mirrors were made by my uncle from unusual woods like spalted maple, the tray is from a defunct Polish airline, the porcelain pillbox was my mother’s, the shoe is a ring holder that I got for my birthday from my sister, the rings are all from antique stores or art shows.
